Fire prevention inspections to begin next week
Loddon Shire Council will begin their fire prevention inspections next week.
From Thursday October 22nd, Council's Fire Prevention Officer will be inspecting properties to assess whether landowners are maintaining appropriate levels of vegetation and reducing fuel loads - particularly in high-risk areas.
Council Chief Executive Officer Phil Pinyon said the inspections were designed to help create a safer community by identifying and managing fire risks.
“This is particularly important as we start to head into the warmer months,” Mr Pinyon added.
