Three Critically Injured After Car Rolls North of Wakool
A horror month on the region's roads has continued this morning, after a single-car crash north of Wakool in Burraboi has left three people in a critical condition.
Officers from the Murray River Police District were called to the scene at around 7:40am, where a car had rolled after travelling west on Merriginnie Road.
The 32-year-old female driver was trapped while her passengers, two boys aged nine and 12, were ejected from the vehicle.
The female was freed from the vehicle, and was taken to the Deniliquin Hospital, along with the youngest boy.
Police have been told the eldest boy was been flown to a children's hospital in Melbourne.
Investigations are now underway, with police focusing on whether the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, and whether speed was a factor.
