THE Woorinen Tigers Youth Girls Football side have tongues wagging in Bendigo after their powerhouse start to the Bendigo Junior Football League.
The defending premiers thumped North Bendigo 22.15.147 to 0.1.1 on the weekend.
After a bye in the first round, the Tigers beat Golden Square 23.11.149 to 0.0.0 before thrashing South Bendigo 16.25.121 to 0.0.0.
Tigers coach Jeremy Jolliffe said he was proud of his side after their emphatic start to the season.
In the Northern Country Women's League, the Kerang Blues took their first ever quarter win.
The side led 2.0.12 to 1.3.9 against Kyneton after the first change, before falling behind 3.0.18 to 5.10.40.
Eventually, the Kyneton Tigers kicked eight goals to win by 49 points.
